The famous Gerry Cottle ‘The Magic Circus’, has come to the Bay. On tour at Paignton seafront from 1st – 29th August. Enjoy the sparkling spectacle from the new tip-up tiered theatre style Big Top seating up to 850, with the electric atmosphere of Britain’s most established family extravaganza.

Gerry draws upon his 50 years in circus to provide an awe-inspiring line-up of the World’s greatest acts in circus, comedy and magic for live entertainment to thrill and astonish all ages. Wild, wonderful and out-of-this-world, ‘The Magic Circus’ brings together amazing acts with an infectious soundtrack and the latest lights and technology and dazzling energy – family entertainment for the modern age.

Expect the unexpected with another UK first, Gerry Cottle presents ‘The Queens of Magic’ - all female illusionists with up to six ladies per show, led by mother and daughter act: Sarah Cottle and Ellen Ramsay and their group known as MAGiQUE. Girls with attitude showcasing their larger-than-life Las Vegas style illusions. Traditionally it’s the ladies who end up in pieces or as targets; with MAGiQUE, however, it’s the girls who cut the man in half!

Home-grown UK talent includes The Wow Stars, a troupe of ten hugely talented young performers

who will astound you with their unbelievable daredevil acts high in the roof of the big top, on unicycles, roller skates and outstanding juggling skills. You won’t believe your eyes with the amazing acts in the air including: The Sky-high Motorbike – upside down on the high wire ‘Duo Roma’.

And there’s fabulous entertainment from World-class acts with Gordon Marquez the Mexican madcap juggler and ‘The Veslovski’, Russian whip-cracking Cossacks. From Africa, The Tanzanian Tornadoes, and the truly International fire finale is Rocking Around the World…
